Safe Routes to School
(DLAND/Sasaki project)

This NYCDOT project redesigns the pedestrian routes near 6 schools for 16 Manhattan intersections, which have been the site of a significant number of traffic accidents. The scope of work includes traffic mitigation measures that target roadway improvements, including new curb extensions, pedestrian safety islands, drainage facilities, and pavement markings.
